At DRC we strive to support our community in various ways. However, we also know when to lean on other amazing organizations that serve in other areas of need. Below you will find a list of community resources to offer further support.  Please contact us with any questions. 

AiR Family 

AiR Family provides recovery support for those struggling with a substance addiction and/or behavioral health concern. 

American Indian Family Center

AIFC provides American Indian families with programs and services enriched by traditional American Indian values and culture. Services include recovery, mental health, housing, employment, youth and family programs.​

CLUES

CLUES programs and services engage and empower our community by connecting individuals and families to skills, resources and systems of support. Service areas include classes, health & wellness, survivor support, parenting, economic empowerment, Latino arts & culture, community engagement, youth, and elders. 

 

Career Force

CareerForce provides Resume review and/or cover letter writing, Interview preparation, skills assessment, online training opportunities, and job searching focusing on dislocated workers, public assistance recipients, and youth.  CareerForce includes one-one-one guidance, training, networking, labor market information, and more.

Karen Organization of Minnesota

The Karen Organization of Minnesota is the first social services agency in the country founded by Karen refugees from Burma. We offer a variety of programs to help refugees transition to life in a new country and achieve their goals. Services in areas of employment, social services, community health, youth development.
 

Lutheran Social Services

Serving you and all of Minnesota with personalized services that promote full and abundant lives in areas of disaster recovery, families, financial & employment, housing & assistance, mental health, military & veteran, Older adults, People with disabilities, refugee, youth, and youth homelessness. 

Minnesota Literacy Council

Literacy Minnesota's Open Door Learning Centers provide free classes for adults in ESL, GED, computer skills, college prep, career readiness and more. Our Arlington Hills location on St. Paul's East Side also has a preschool program for children of adult students. 

NuWay

NuWay offers co-occurring residential and outpatient treatment for men, women and transgender individuals suffering from both substance addiction and mental health diagnosis. ​Offers a variety of weekly support meetings on various topics.

Volunteer Lawyer Network

Volunteer Lawyers Network is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to connecting Minnesotans experiencing poverty with some of the top private lawyers in the state at no cost. We work with partners in immigrant, refugee, Indigenous, faith and LGBTQ+ communities, and programs that serve previous offenders, survivors of domestic and sexual violence, people experiencing homelessness, youth and many more to ensure our services are available to the people who need them most.

ThinkSelf

ThinkSelf’s mission is to offer resources, education & support to Minnesota Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing adults seeking full access to options for learning, safety, justice, employment skills, and community.
 

Ujamaa Place

Ujamaa Place provides holistic transformation for young African-American men experiencing inequity at the intersection of race and poverty. We help them achieve brotherhood, stability and personal success. Services in areas of housing, education, employment, wellness, criminal justice, culture and community.

 

VSS - Vietnamese Social Services

The mission of the Vietnamese Social Services of Minnesota is to maintain the identity of Minnesota’s Vietnamese community while addressing the basic economic, education, and health needs of refugees and immigrants statewide while promoting healthy and thriving communities.

Women's Advocates

Women’s Advocates walks with victim/survivors and our community to break the cycle of domestic violence through emergency shelter, ongoing support groups, education and resources.

YWCA

YWCA is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women,  and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all through services in the following areas: radical justice, homelessness, health & fitness, employment & economic development and youth development. ​

LawHelp Minnesota

Legal Services State Support (State Support) is a project of the Minnesota Legal Services Coalition (MLSC), a group of seven legal aid programs that help low-income residents with a variety of legal matters. State Support manages this website, ProJusticeMN.org for advocates, and MNLegalAdvice.org, a statewide legal advice website.
